rental rules: Rental conditions
The tenant undertakes to personally occupy the villa and to use it peacefully.
On his departure, the tenant agrees to return the villa in a clean state (dishes done, dishwasher and refrigerator emptied, BBC grill cleaned).
The tenant agrees not to smoke in the house. It is possible to smoke outside and it is forbidden to crush your cigarette butt other than in an ashtray provided for this purpose.
The owner reserves the right to retain the deposit if related damage is observed (odors, traces on the interior and exterior walls, tiles, etc.) at the end of the rental period.
The maximum authorized to stay at the villa is 6 people unless agreed by the owner.
It is tolerated to receive a few people at the villa during the day or in the evening, within the limit of 10 people. For any event, the agreement of the owner is imperative.
If the maximum capacity is exceeded and the owner has not been informed, he reserves the right to refuse access to the villa or claim a price increase. Bringing an extra bed is strictly prohibited. It is also forbidden to set up tents in the garden or other installation. In the event of overflow, he reserves the right to cash the deposit, to prohibit access to the occupants by any means and to interrupt the water and electricity supply of the villa if necessary.
The tenant cannot sublet all or part of the villa.
If the tenant arrives in the accommodation and decides not to stay or to leave before the scheduled date, the nights not spent in the accommodation are not reimbursed, except with the exceptional agreement of the owner.
Except with the prior agreement of the owner or his representative, animals are not accepted.
Bail
The tenant will pay a deposit of 1500 Euros, by check on arrival.
The deposit check will be returned at the end of the rental period, within the legal period of 10 days after departure and if no damage is found. In the event that damage is observed, the deposit will be returned within the limit of the legal period of 10 days after departure and the inventory of fixtures, once the costs related to the restoration of the rental have been deducted, according to the legislation in force.
Insurance - deterioration - breakage and theft
The tenant confirms that he has taken out civil liability insurance.
Under no circumstances can the owner be held responsible for damage of any kind whatsoever, in particular fire, water damage or theft, likely to affect the objects or materials deposited by the tenant in the villa.
The tenant must ensure the custody of the goods or materials brought by him.
The tenant is responsible for all damage caused by his intermediary and undertakes in the event of damage/theft of the premises, to bear the costs of restoring the premises.
Swimming pool
The maintenance of the swimming pool is carried out by the piscinist, once a week.
The use of glassware in the pool, likely to cause damage is prohibited.
The owner assumes all risks associated with swimming in the pool.
The security alarm is functional on the day of arrival, if the tenant decides to deactivate it, the owner then discharges himself of all responsibility.
Environment
The owner cannot be held responsible for any events related to the economic, political, health or cultural situation of Martinique (electricity and/or water cut, presence of insects, bad weather, etc.). These events cannot give rise to any refund.
The owner can not be held responsible for damages suffered in the event of events located next to the rented property such as receptions, works. These inconveniences cannot give rise to any refund.
Complaints
Any dispute or complaint must be addressed to the concierge or the owner immediately so that the latter can find a solution. Once a period of 48 hours has passed, complaints cannot be taken into consideration to claim a partial refund.
The owner or his representative cannot be held responsible for malfunctions that may occur in the water or electricity services (linked to the network) and declines all responsibility for lack of enjoyment of these.
force majeure
The owner will not be able to rent the villa in the event of the occurrence of an exceptional event or a case of force majeure (cyclones, tsunami...) and in particular in the event of total or partial destruction of the villa. Reservations may be won or cancelled/refunded.
